Do you want to empower the developer relations community, be a pioneer in DevRel, and build your brand while you’re at it?

Becoming a DevRel Uni Captain is the fastest way to kickstart your career, gain valuable experience building communities, and make a difference in Developer Relations.

Principles

Discord Lead

Your mission is to organise, moderate & lead a Discord channel.
How would you engage DevRel Uni community members into getting into developer relations?
You set the topic, cadence and direction for the conversation.
You answer questions and you make new members feel welcomed.

Event Organizer Lead

Your goals is to create opportunities for the community to gather together, learn, and exchange ideas. Whether that comes to moderating and organizing a Twitter space, or moderating the Discord lounges, you got the lead.

Resource Lead

Your goal is to collect and curate the most helpful evergreen resources (guides,articles, news, experts, etc.) about Developer Relations.
You’ll own the resource channels and play a key role to onboard new community members into the world of developer relations.

FAQs

All the roles listed are volunteering roles. While you will not get financial compensation, you will get other perks exclusive to the superstars of the DevRel University Community (your profile will be featured on our website, you will get access to the VIP Telegram channel, and additional perks).
While you are free to support colleagues from other roles, select one role that you can dedicate to.
You are expected to dedicate at least 2h/week.
Not everyone that signs up for the roles will get one. After the form submission, we will have an interview stage that helps to identify the most suitable people for each of the roles. We want to make sure hat the role aligns with your aspirations, passions and you are having fun.
